Before the advent of satellite imaging, or even safe, "lighter than air" flight, cartographers physically went out and surveyed land using advanced trigonometry strategies called triangulation

Even with almost 80 years of American settlers in Utah at this point, much of Utah was still unknown to many, except those brave enough to venture into the desert. Utah county is well surveyed, but Tooele, is left alone.
This is Utah in 2023
Even after over 175 years, there's still vast sections of Utah yet to be documented.
Let's change that.
